Boycott Procter & Gamble

Kathy9 | 27 April, 2008 02:34

Hello,

Just to remind you that May 17 is ‘Boycott Procter & Gamble’ day, and any action you take will help – most particularly, not buying any of their products.

According to Uncaged (<www.uncaged.co.uk>), which sponsors the P&G campaign,

‘P&G continues to test on animals in the development of new household cleaning, cosmetic and pet food products and ingredients despite there being no legal requirements to do so, … and ever-increasing public pressure.

‘An internal P&G memo, originally leaked to the BUAV, revealed how the company secretly lobbied the European Union and member state Governments to try to block a popular proposal to stop testing cosmetics and toiletries on animals within the EU.’
